Some days are perfection. This wedding photography session at Red Rock Canyon was one of those special days. I and A are the epitome of style. Wearing a fitted lace gown with a plunging neckline and dramatic make-up, the bride looked gorgeous. Crystal jewelry, including her impressive sparkler of a ring and a natural updo, completed her bridal look. The groom matched her in his cool black suit and velvet loafers. While these newlyweds would look amazing anywhere, the striking desert setting seemed made for them.
Holding hands, laughing and talking away, they strolled along the rustic road, stopping for a dance now and then. Capturing their love was easy as they were so relaxed in front of the camera and very photogenic. I love the veil shots because they look so intimate. The bride didn’t wear it for all of the photo shoot, which was great. The simple change of removing the veil totally changed her look from being quite formal to more of a casual bridal vibe after it was removed.
We were blessed with gorgeous light and cloud cover that diffused the sun and made the temperature just a little cooler. Moody, dramatic, and totally romantic is how I would describe this gallery. Breathing-taking and magical moments like this desert photo session always remind me of how blessed I am to be a photographer. While I travel the world to destinations that are on the bucket list of many, shooting in my backyard of LV is equally inspiring. And it has so much to offer in terms of dynamic backdrops.
